Re: Straight Flush Draw on the Turn

Check.

He is most likely gonna bet again, if not you get a free card. If he does bet, the likely situation, then I think you should EITHER: (A) check-raise a decent amount with your big draw or (B) [What I would do] Check call and hope you hit...

***I seriously haven't hit a OESF/OE+F draw in like 2 months (and I play min. 4-5hrs every day), it's insane - I'm due to go on the sickest OESF/OE+F draw rush of all time. I'm NOT superstitous at all, but this is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen lately, I mean I see about one a day and I always just check-call with 'em b/c I usually miss... it doesn't really bother me anymore b/c Im used to it. I don't no how I'll handle myself in the coming months when I hit 'em left and right... oh boy! Can't wait...

Re: Straight Flush Draw on the Turn

You're 36% to win if he has an overpair with no clubs. You're 22% to win if he has an overpair with a club.

I think at this level, he'd insta call a checkraise with an overpair.

I'd say check call, if you get 2:1 cuz your implied odds are good for a nice value bet if you hit.

Re: Straight Flush Draw on the Turn

I would check raise if his opening bet wasn't huge, maybe 3 to 4 times the minimum.
Check call if his raise was higher than that. Why would I do that. I don't know that's how I roll sometimes.

Whatever you do, don't go all in. It's not worth it.

Trust me...

Re: Straight Flush Draw on the Turn

check/call. Too bad you didn't have this draw on the flop. Any check raise would be all-in (for him), but if you feel like rolling the dice go ahead. Without a read, I wouldn't though.

Also, raise preflop. And raise the flop (although thanks to that f***ing Full Tilt e-mail about the weak lead, it's a little riskier than usual).

Re: Straight Flush Draw on the Turn

The pot is already pretty big so I would check/call. If you bet or check/raise, it all might be going in and I don't think it is a good spot to go all in. I would prefer to get away from the hand if it's a blank.
