How easy is it to find a lower limit table in Vegas these days? I know that popularity has increased but so have the number of tables. Can a person find a lower limit table available without having to wait a long time at most places during the days / weekends or are there certain times when it is best to show up if you wish to bet small?
I was recently in Vegas and played mostly at the Venetian and Mandalay Bay. I was playing 1-2 NL and never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a seat. I noticed at least two 2-4 limit tables at each of these casinos and they did not have a long wait list either. Good luck on your trip.
Majority of the casino only have 1/2 and 2/5 NL, 2/4 and 4/8 FL. You will not have problems finding games at those limits. It is only when you want to play higher that you will have trouble finding games. Anything higher than that will mean Bellagio, Wynn, Mirage. Some of the other places will say they have higher than 4/8 FL or 2/5 NL but usually only list of interest.
Couple of years ago, more places such as MGM had the higher stakes such as 10/20 FL.
When I was in Vegas a few years back the Excalibur spread $1-$3 limit... Ton of locals and 6 to 8 to see a flop... Don't know if this is still offered though...
