Chips: 2,224 | | | (KK) 4-handed, mixed flop. Whachadew? I'm very new to SHNL. I was playing in a live $1/$2 game last night. We were 4 handed at the time and I had the following hand. My appologies for the formatting. Low stack was about 60xBB, big stack was about 100xBB. Everyone is fairly laggy, I'm playing tight, unfortunately leaning to weak-tight.
I want to take this hand line by line, so what do you do after this flop?
Hero posts $1 SB (dealt to Hero: KsKc)
BB posts $2BB
UTG/CO calls $2
Button folds
Hero raises to $6
BB calls another $4
UTG folds
Flop ($14) AhKhJh
Hero bets $10
BB raises $55 to $65 and is all in
Hero?
I have him covered by about $10. Call the push or fold? |

Most of the reasonable hearts that would have called preflop are on the flop, so it is less likely that he flopped a heart flush unless he has 98 or 76 or something. If that was his hand do you think he would push all-in or try to milk you when flops a monster hand?
Its read dependent, but unless this guy is weak tight I am calling and hoping to see him turn over AJ or some crap like that. If he did get lucky and flop the flush you are still +30% to boat up and win the hand. |

vs. non-flush hands:
Board: Ah Kh Jh
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 83.077% 80.60% 02.48% 71814 2208.00 { KcKs }
Hand 1: 16.923% 14.44% 02.48% 12870 2208.00 { JJ+, A6s+, KJs, A7o+, KJo }
vs a typical flush hand:
Board: Ah Kh Jh
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 34.545% 34.44% 00.10% 341 1.00 { KcKs }
Hand 1: 65.455% 65.35% 00.10% 647 1.00 { 8h7h }
you're getting 2:1 which is about what you need if you're beat here, and at least 50% of the time he has one of those first set of hands. |

Yeah, intellectualy I'm 100% with you. What made this really hard is that the guy I was up against had done things like call a 3xBB PFraise with 95o, or bet UTG with K7o. Just maniac stuff. |

I want to start playing 6-max to work on nothing but post-flop game, but I need a tutor or a coach. I flat out suck. |
