1. AAxx is more playable than in limit in position but you want to get heads up preflop if possible. Obviously, with a 2 and a suited A, its very strong. Pretty much anyone that pots preflop is scream AA, A2xx with suited A.
2. You need to be able to fold a naked nut low (no high draws). IMHO, naked nut lows in PL can be killers especially without counterfeit protection. Depending on the table, I'll go passive with these hands. The dead money from chasers can soften the quartering chance plus you'll sometimes get folks betting 2nd nut low.
3. The .10/.25 and .25/.50 are pretty soft at P* but there are a number of good players.
4. There are a lot of regulars at P* so PTO w/ PA is a good investment. It rare that I sit down at a PLO8 table and don't have 40+ hands on a player.
