Watchu do heer?

Okay, game at Stank's last night.
Third level of a STT. Blinds are 15/30.

Yeltzen gets KK in third position. I think Stank made his typical girly limp and I raised it to 100 or 120 or something. The LAGgiest player at the table makes it 300, Stank of course folds like the girl he is, and it's back on me.

I have about 1200 left (we started with 1500).

I thought about three things:
1) Make the old-school Yeltzen play and call like a pud.
2) Raise 400 more which would leave me with 600.
3) Go all in.

WHAT WULD U DEW!?!?!? Since I'm pretty sure he views me as a complete and total rock, I had a feeling he'd only reraise me with AA.

Re: Watchu do heer?

Well, don't raise again unless it's all in, because you can't fold if he puts you in for the last 600.
I would go all in here most times, but players at my game will call an all in with any Ace.

Mike

you are showing an insane amount of respect for him to think he'd only reraise with AA....there's no chance of JJ, QQ, KK, AK?

I can see a typical player reraising with AK here, considering they may want to just take the hand right then, for fear of missing on the flop.

I'll roll the dice on a guess and say he has queens. Just a guess...

so how'd it go?

Re: Watchu do heer?

You, a rock???

If he thinks you are a rock and will only raise with AA, I wouldn't raise but call and see if the flop hits me. If flop don't hit, time to fold to any big action.

Re: Watchu do heer?

This one is pretty easy for me.... stop-n-go his ass.

Call PF and push any non-Ace flop. If he's got AA then oh well, you were supposed to go broke here. I can check-fold on an Ace high flop unless he "tells" me he has QQ or JJ or something.

Call 300 to take the chance and hit 2 cards? I re raise all in and take it down right here. The only hand you have to fear is AA and your a major favorite against all other hands.
