Chips: 502 | | | What % do you call, fold, raise in diff positions? Curious if anyone keeps track or has a rough estimate of the breakdown of their actions from different positions in No Limit Hold 'Em. Please specify if your info is for Cash games or Tourneys.
If you can estimate, please complete this:
In early position:
% Fold -
% Call -
% Raise -
In middle position:
% Fold -
% Call -
% Raise -
In late position:
% Fold -
% Call -
% Raise -
I know much of this is situational (action in front of you, players, your chip stack, etc...) but this data over time has to be a meaningful indicator of something.

Chips: 2,331 | | | Re: What % do you call, fold, raise in diff positions? This is only hypothetical, assuming a zero read on all players (10 person table):
In early position:
% Fold - 95%
% Call - 3% (i.e. pocket pairs looking for a cheap flop)
% Raise - 2% (i.e.premiums)
In middle position:
% Fold - 80%
% Call - 15%
% Raise - 5%
In late position:
% Fold - 70%
% Call - 10%
% Raise - 20% (only higher than calling because of steal attempts)
This is only a general estimate, I will often switch gears to throw off opponents when I think they are getting a read on my play. |

multitable tournaments:
SnG:
All of this is after I had lots of experience (backup your databases, kids!) and represent tournaments all the way from $1.10 MTT's to the $20/180 'stars tournaments. There are a few party SnG's in there, it appears... seat 7 is the giveaway since I filtered for NLHE only. There are also 25-30 tournaments that haven't been input yet due to the auto-requestor not working with PT since the last 'stars upgrade. (It works now, I should get on that)
I'm squeaky tight, even late. I need to work on that. One thing that pops out at me that I do like about my current stats is my WWSF% from MP. This means that when I do decide to enter a pot from MP I'm doing so with good hands AND observant opponents are giving me more credit than I'm due. Notice how it falls back off when I get closer to the button, they aren't giving me as much credit because you're SUPPOSED to steal in LP. I would imagine that my CO stats are an abberation... or I'm playing against people that don't think you should steal from the CO (or at least not cont bet from there). Another 15k hands should tell the tale.

Chips: 504 | | | Re: What % do you call, fold, raise in diff positions? This is funny, but when I play .10/.25 cent omaha (hi) online, I limp in and play EVERY single pot, only _occasionally_ raising pre-flop.....
Ends up looking something like:
Hands Won: %21
Showdowns won: %68 Flops Seen: %96
etc....etc.. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
