Okay, I have a serious question.


When you're in a live tournament.


And you've got the urge.


The urge to go all-in.





How do you do it?
With Flair - Do you dramatically shove your chips into the middle of the table, sending them flying and laugh as the dealer starts steaming?

With Purpose - Do you count out all of your chips meticulously, stack them up and slam them on the felt to show people that, yes, you really have watched poker on TV before, and you mean business?

With Femininity - Do you say nothing and slowly push your chips into pot while doing nothing but staring at the felt (or at your cleavage if you're so lucky)?

With Cool - Do you look at your cards and then quickly say "all-in" with an even tone, letting everyone know you just don't give a sh*t and you'll play anything cause ANY TWO CARDS BABY!!!!!!!!!

With Mania - Do you launch your chips into the pot then stand up and find people in the crowd to slap hands with so your opponents can't see your face?

I say all- in throw in the call, and literally throw it, and then push the rest in messily.

I'm still very tentative to show anything emotional at all, whether by talking or acting like I'm confident or not at a live game...so I try to show neither confidence nor discomfort when pushing...

I'm just not comfortable chatting during my all-in as I fear giving info away...

Well the one that is most like me would be the following

With Cool - Do you look at your cards and then quickly say "all-in" with an even tone, letting everyone know you just don't give a sh*t and you'll play anything cause ANY TWO CARDS BABY!!!!!!!!!

That only gos for the way I do it not that I play any 2 cards. If it was a casino tourney I would probably just let the dealer count it if the other person wanted a count. No rule that say you have to do it.

edit, I do it for the reason tastic gave above. Not alot of live tourney or NL experince so I don't want to give any info. Go for consistence do it the same way everytime.

Depends on the hand, if i want a caller or not..

Ususaly its a cool/nervous style.. shaking hands counting all my chips then saying allin..
