Chips: 7,134 | | | Raising with AA in limit. For those of you here that play limit, do you always raise and reraise from any position with AA? It's aggravating to raise and have it folded around, but I've found very little value in calling, so I always raise. Plus, it's not like people in these limits are paying attention. |

I try to make my money on the hands where AA holds up because I need to make up for the times it gets busted out by crazy play and this seems to happen far too often with me.

I don't think limping Aces is the crime many limit players feel it is, but I don't limp because 'they'll call my raise anyway'.
I'll limp in EP if a) the table's tight or b) there's a maniac just to my left who can face the field with two cold, doing my isolating work for me.
I'll limp if there are weak/tights at the table.
Mostly though I raise and reraise.

Mostly though I raise and reraise. | When someone limp/reraises me at a limit table, I call and fold on the flop if I don't hit 2 pair or better. |

I run across plenty of people (especially in the 6max games) that whenever they get 3 bet, LRR, or check raised go into 'Oh yeah?!' mode with the dumbest hands.
And most people will call a 3 bet after they've called one raise or put in that raise.
That said, I'll limp to disguise my hand more often than most would w/AA as they fear of three or more opponents.
