Chips: 2,331 | | | How often do you make this call? Second hand of a no-limit sit n go, blinds 10/20 with a 1500 chip stack, hero is in the SB and gets dealt A J . Early position (EP) player and middle position (MP) player limp, and hero raises 60, BB folds. Flop comes 10 10 7 . Hero bets 100, EP and MP both call. Turn is 2 completeing the nut flush. The paired board is a slight concern for our hero, nevertheless, Hero bets 200, EP folds and MP goes all-in. If you are hero, how often do you make this call? |

However, lots of idiots call if they've already put money in the pot, especially in the early blind levels. Still, he'd be crazy to go all-in with anything less than a full house. He probably has a lessor hand; however, it's only the second hand of the tournament and I'm not willing to put the whole tourney at risk by making this call. I don't want to get knocked out on the second hand by an idiot who shouldn't have been in the hand in the first place, but got a lucky flop and/or turn, so I would fold. |

In the absence of more information, I would tend to estimate the all-in as either a second best flush bet, a crazily aggressive semi-bluff to the second best flush, trip tens hoping to force out the flush draw, or a total bluff. In my mind, putting your money in the pot in this situation will pay off many more times than it will lose to the full house.

T7 suited from MP isn't that rare in a $10-$20 game, so a flopped full house isn't out of the question. in a $100 or $200 game, you can probably assume that your hand is good on the turn and call. 77 is the only reasonable holding that has you beat, and if he's holding that, then so be it - you were beat from the start.
i probably call here about 20% of the time, but wouldn't be surprised when the guy flips over 22 having made 3 bad plays in a row!

If I have the nut flush and only a boat can beat me, I am willing to take that chance, unless I have one hell of a read on the other player. I would figure the other player hit a flush as well or trips, maybe even two pair. |

I see alot of folks play T7.
$11 or lower, I call pretty much 100% of the time with that flop/turn... the odds are just too high someone got trips.
