Chips: 2,521 | | | Question about Las Vegas poker rooms I am making my first ever trip to Vegas starting Saturday for 4 days. Have to spend some time with customers on Sat and Sun but will have plenty of time for poker Sun night, as well as Mon and Tues. I am staying at the Bellagio and would like to play a mix of limit (say up to $5/$10), NL (1/$2) and a couple tourneys ($30-$50 buy-in). I have found a couple websites that post tourney schedules but if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate any advice you could give. Also, any advice on certain poker rooms (likes, dislikes) would be appreciated. I have heard good reports on the new poker room at Green Valley Ranch, anyone been there? |

I bought in on the $1,2 table and walked away 3 hours later up $400. I had a good run of cards but played smart and capitalized on loose play by some fish. I recommend it.

The high stake place are the Bellagio and the Wynn. There are lots of other low limit places but the ones I name above are close to the Bellagio. I would stick to the Bellagio and the Mirage which is half a block across the street. Both have very nice poker rooms. |

Chips: 47 | | If you're looking for a smaller stakes no limit game hit next door, the Monte Carlo has a $1/$2 no limit game with a $200 max buy in. There are lower buy-in tourneys at the Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and MGM every weekday. The Bellagio has a higher buy-in tourney ($500 & $1000) the mirage has a $300 tourney. You can go to old vegas if you like being depressed . I'd stick with the strip, when I was there last week Paris and Nicky Hilton were playing at the Palms as was Macally Caulkin (don't know how to spell his has-been name).

I noticed they give out $1 Bellagio chips for a submitted room review. |

Chips: 934 | | I wouldn't be able to play poker in the same room as Paris and Nicky Hilton. Not for the reasons you think, though. I'd probably get tossed out for kicking them both in the face. |

They run at 11am, 7 (check the time on this one) pm and 11 pm. |

I never made it to the Palms though, one of the locals told me about the Hilton sisters.
