Steamrolling a game

Ever have a night where you hit every hand...and almost start to feel bad about it(almost but not quite)? Played this Saturday night shorthanded (5 of us) at .25/.50 nlhe. Since Timmy wasn't there, I took over as resident LAG tard and literally hit almost every hand. Brought $240 with me and needed only $20 buy-in, cracked aces every time, killed top pairs by catching a second pair 2/3 the time, hit sets about 2/3 the time I had pocket pairs. I did get dealt AK a couple times and both times had to fold out of the hand, never got aces or kings that I can remember. Hit too many boats to remember... If I hadn't played with these guys dozens of times, I swear I would have been accused of cheating. At the end of the night there was about $280 on the table and I left with $235 of it. Even the last hand I get dealt pocket Jacks and take $30 from two guys when the flop comes 10 high... It got to the point I would almost be embarrassed to show I got lucky again.

I know over the long haul I've gotten handed my shirt a few times, so it's not like I'm playing with retards I fleece every week. Just strange to hit that hard, almost makes me leary that I'm due to get spanked now.

I guess my point is, I've never left a table with any guilt before( not guilt that I did anything wrong), just weird to rake pot after pot with hands that had no business being there to begin with. I've left tables taking a majority of the money many times, but it's always been a back and forth battle between everyone. THis night was a constant chip stack building, I can only remember losing one decent pot I was involved in...and a few hands later felted the person.

Super interesting. I'd love to see more on this topic.

Sigh...

It was just an observation, poker to me is a competition and I've never had this kind of experience. Jamie gold-like.

But if course I'm the troll, right? You quit your day job yet to play professionally? Until then, I don't care to hear your condescending uncalled for input.
