just had a quickie with my wife (perverts...i'm talking about a T10,000 heads up match):

blinds are 75/100

i'm look down at

and raise to 350. she calls.

flop comes

i bet 475. she calls.

turn

i check. she checks.

river

i bet 875 she rasies to 3000. wtf??? im thoroughly confused by her play (granted i could have played it differently too

) and just call. she turns over

....damn.

i bet half my stack (~2.5k?). she calls

turn

i shove. she insta-calls and turns over

just wanted to share. some of the coolest hands i've experienced heads up. definitely a match to remember.

you know it's funny you mention that. i was so caught up with the fact that i had such a huge hand that i didn't even consider it not being good enough.

Do you play for anything "real?" Like you have to do the laundry or she has to take the dog for that last late night walk....

yeah that's actually what we play for. a week's worth of dishes, laundry, etc. it's really fun. but i gotta get her to play "for real" with us sometime. i have a feeling she'd do well.
