I will have them up soon, they are on a friends camera and he hasnt uploaded them yet, but soon they will be here.

To answer the "pre-flop raise" scenario::

Fold wasnt much of a situation in my opinion as I was getting 13:1 on a complete, and I didnt raise as the game was so loose a raise to £1 wouldn't have thinned the field at all.

I was obviously over the moon with the flop but with the action in this particular hand I thought BTN could have any set or J9. My instinct told me to fold, but I was blinded by the mountain of chips in my middle, so my stack followed into the pot after much deliberation. I knew it was a mistake as soon as I called. UTG folded.

The turn came a 9 and river came a second 8m making the board 78T98............at this point I obv knew I was dead, lol.

MP showed T7 for 2 pair

BTN showed J9 for a straight

I showed 69 for the lower straight

and UTG had folded 78 which would have been the eventual winner.

Quite a sick hand imo.

I guess I should learn to follow my instincts, I just couldnt pass up to chance to have sooooo many chips, .

BTN in the hand was Sneds btw, and he proceeded to mock me, and taunt me talking about how "well the chips stacked" etc. the "b*****d.

Luckily he "donked" away his £60 stack before the end of the night .

Re: First night with new chips. WWYD??

Sorry I couldn't make the game this past weekend. Had plans for Saturday morning.

But if those of you in the London area ever want to come down to central London for a game, let's get one planned. I live in the EC1V 4JQ post code near Barbican/Farringdon on the Circle Line. Plenty of parking too on weekends.

Re: First night with new chips. WWYD??

I'll let Steven post all the pics in his own time, but just thought I'd contribute one - when I was at my peak for the evening.

I'm sure Steven will follow up this post with how I looked when i lost it all!!

Nevertheless:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..........

Basically the table is ok, but the felt stains your fingers blue, and I didnt want to risk it staining my ASM's.

Will update the OP with Pics now.
