Craziest all-in fest on first hand?

I'm sure someone must have a better one than this -- I'm interested

Re: Craziest all-in fest on first hand?

considering that these levels are similar to play money, that may be the only place I've seen 4 AI on the very first hand. I'm not even sure if I saw it then.

I've seen 3 players eliminated in the first hand of a $6 SnG at PartyPoker. In fact, its unusual if somebody doesn't push in the first hand. My strategy is to auto-fold until people stop shoving; even with AA or KK (as in the OP), there's just too high a probability that you'll be up against several players, at least one of whom will out-flop you.

Re: Craziest all-in fest on first hand?

I don't really mind that I got all that action -- 60% to win putting in 25% of the money. As soon as I saw the board, I knew a suckout was coming -- AT still had an ace to hit, JT had a gutshot, QJ picked up some outs as well. I was expecting an ace on the river, but hey, you never know...
