Chips: 4,316 | | | Wired Tens at the Wynn. Pocket Ts at the 1-3 at the Wynn. I've been raising a lot from position and I'm in the cut-off with ~ $280.
I've been playing a lot of hands and most of them by raising unopened pots. The button has $360 and is definitely onto my little game. He's seen me rob this table blind and I can tell he's getting frustrated by the way hes been mucking his cards. Hes not agro or saying anything to me, but I know hes picked me off.
One of the habits I have is to watch a few players behind me and this rare time the button checked his hole cards before me and I see him grab a chip as if he is going to call.
I make it $12 like every other raise I've made. The button immediately jams to $30. Sensing a little baloney I call.
Flop KJ9 with two clubs
I Check, He insta-shoves.
It's important to note that I'm getting the feeling of personal aggression here. I feel in my bones he is challenging me.
I go into the tank and teeter on folding because it's just so dang expensive. I don't feel I'm beat, I just feel pressure.
Finally I decide to call.
He looks at me and sighs out a whispy... "good call". He shows A3 of clubs.
The turn is a Q that gives me a straight and the river is a Q of clubs!
He says to me... "I was just trying to slow you down."
He ended up giving me some respect for the rest of our time at the Wynn and we had a couple of laughs. I ran into him again at Caesars and took a seat to his immediate left.

Maybe I play monstly online for pennys, but I would never call there.
Afterwards it turned out to be a great call, congrats for that.

I'll just tell you where I've done my best.
Tropicana - Late night sessions but the place is going downhill quickly.
Venetian - By far my most favorite place to play.
Flamingo - Sit back and wait.
Wynn - Seems to be doing OK for me, but its always been a grind.

let's say he reraises any pair / any broadway hand, and shoves the flop with any piece of it (so that knocks out smaller pairs). then...
Board: Ks Js 9c
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 64.080% 62.33% 01.75% 499857 13999.50 { 77+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, ATo+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }
Hand 1: 35.920% 34.17% 01.75% 274044 13999.50 { TT }
if we include ALL pairs, then it's about EV neutral with 60 dead in the pot:
Board: Ks Js 9c
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 54.047% 52.55% 01.50% 515022 14697.00 { 22+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, ATo+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }
Hand 1: 45.953% 44.45% 01.50% 435684 14697.00 { TT }
if we think he made this play with any ace, any pair any broadway, then wooooo!
Board: Ks Js 9c
Dead:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 38.177% 37.32% 00.86% 640668 14697.00 { 22+, A2s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, A2o+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }
Hand 1: 61.823% 60.97% 00.86% 1046598 14697.00 { TT } |

| Yeah thats the problem. I can really only beat a bluff or a draw.
I honestly didn't see his draw when I called either.
Thanks for running the numbers.
