Well, I was playing my last $1 6 handed SNG at Ultimate bet and since it was my last running, I though I can chat a bit.
Well, the blinds were at 30/60, the table folded around to the SB how completed and the BB instantly went all in for about 1.430 chips.
The sb took a while and called. The Bb who pushed showed 22, the bb showed KJ.
my comment: "one thing is 4 sure, an idiot's gonna win this".
the hand went down and the deuces survived. Big deal, no really surprising play at that limit.
Than suddenly that guy with the 22 replied to my comment:
"I had to you donkey, the odds"
hm... so I
"LoL, which odds? 1.430 for 30 chips, great odds, about 1:240"´
so he replied
"i put him on AK so I was a favor and the odds were right"
hm, let's recap the situation. the small blind completed the big blind... pretty obvious he had to have AK I guess... mastermind.
so I tried to express myself in a sientific way:
"..... moron"
than he again:
"you have no clue about poker"
okay, well, maybe, so I replied
"correct. well genious, because of your great odds the only hand that calls you is a pair from TT to AA. Your luck was that you found an even bigger donkey this time"
So this thing went on and bla bla bla. He indeed was a great player. he raised KK preflop, got a caller, an ace hit the flop and he check folded the kings face up and folded 66 face up to a 30 into 160 pot face up on a 772 flop and stuff like that.
So I guess somebody's wrong and I honestly hope, it's not me.
edit: Of course I know I was talking about the pot odds and he was talking about the equity of his hand, even if he called it odds.

Arguing strategy at a $1 SNG is the retarded part of whole thing.

yeah, what I said, my last running table so I decided to chat a bit. Maybe I shouldn't do that anymore and save the headaches. But it's fun.

I find the "Discusion" of strategy at $1 tables totally funny. Great way to be amused during a game
