I didn't take this as a brag post, shoot, I enjoy seeing people running well. It beats the bad beat stories that we all encounter.

Thank you for participating. 7 places pay, I was in 8th at the final table. Had KQ os and a raise by a short stack in front of me, so i folded. 3 way all in and big stack won, knocking 2 out and moving me up to at least 6th. I doubled up the next hand with pocket JJ and hung around to lose a coin flip with 99 vs AJ. 4th place isnt too bad... |

Believe me when I say that is experience talking. The first week of this year I only had to put in a few hrs at my real job so I played quite a bit of live and had my best week ever. Ran about 1000 BB's straight up. Then I got stupid and over-confident and had my worst week ever the following week.
Glad I can recognize my stupidity as well as the down side of variance. Just wish I could recognize it faster sometimes. I lost about 400 BB's in a couple huge hands just bc I played longer than I should have and was well past playing my A game.
Again, congrats, just try not to let it get to your head (like I'm often doing) | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
