I just ran my numbers for the year....

I'm not quite ready to hit the pro tour just yet....

Net G/L -$196 (2006 was +$1,590 for an average annual income of $697)

that's out of 179 games recorded (including the Vegas trip)

however, since I quit sailing, Poker has been my only social hobby.
When Averaging the games to 4 hours each, this hobby costs me approx. .27 cents/hour

So, I'm OK with that..hell of a lot cheaper than the bar scene

I think pretty much everybody would be willing to pay $200 a year to hang out at your place Rob.

I breakout a similar point when my wife says she going out to the dinner/bar/movie/etc with the gfs because I went out and played poker last night/week/month. She has yet to come back from any of these with more money then she left which is not true when I play poker.

As for my own '07 numbers, I wish I were organized enough to track them that well. Outside of the of CT meetup in Chicago (where I lost at everything I played), I only lost money in a single cash all year and it was like $20 or so dollars. As for tournies, those are always a money losing experience for me.
