Wow. I'm steaming. I just got a set of Pharaohs for Christmas and i wanted them to see some felt so i set up a home tourney. There were 11 people and we squeezed them in at one table (I know, too many). It was a T1000 tourney and blinds were pathetic (2/4) at the time.

So my friend who's been playing every hand raises in early position to 50 (20 times bb but that was a small raise in comparison to the previous pots). One other guy calls in late position. I'm dealer with TT so i raise 200. Both guys call.

Flop comes 9 8 4 rainbow. He goes all in. Other guy folds. I call. He has JJ.

So i got knocked out first in my tourney when all i wanted to do was play with my chips.

I'm steaming.

Somebody help.

Oh and i forgot the best part. Very next hand i get rockets with my measly 5 chips left. Such a slap in the face.

I quadruple up and get knocked out the next hand with my 66 to A9

There must be something about new chips and bad luck. The first tourney i played with my Bud Jones chips, i was out in the first few hands, my KK v AA. Luckily i had a few extras to play with why i watched pokertube from the rail.
