I had just sat down at a 2/5 NL cash game at the Riverside Casino/Golf Resort in Riverside Iowa. Three hands in I'm in the bb, action folds around to the sb who makes it $20 to go. Much to my liking I look down and see KK in the hole. I reply, "Let's make it $80". sb thinks it over and quietly calls. Flop comes Qd-4s-9h. sb checks to me and I fire with $90. sb thinks some more and slides out $190. I appraise the situation and decide to shove. sb sais "your that strong huh?" I reply "I like my hand." sb calls, I show KK and he sais he needs running hearts or a 10. I about crap myself. sb turns over K-J and spikes a river 10 filling the gut shot. 1 Hand= -$300

Not that it makes you feel any better, but I feel that kind of sh-t has happened to me SOOOOOO many times playing 2/5 NL. Man, nothing feels worse than when you trap a donkey and the donkey hits runner-runner or sucks out on you.
Sorry, man. Hang in there. It's donkeys like that from whom you'll make your money in the long run. . .
