Sharky | online poker just makes no sense to me. I dont go near it. technically, its all just random, so it should be fairly similar to live, yet the hand values are completely different. Trips are close to a lock live, yet online you have to pray to boat up cuz on the turn or river BS will come. I find online poker rewards the people that blindly chase with terrible odds and then they suck out on the guy protecting his flopped beauty. Theres a dramatic shift in the tide of each hand from the flop to the river. I'm convinced it's just to get more money passing through the rake, because it happens alllll the time. not random at all.

It all boils down to the number of hands you play and folks selective memory. I played online today for just over 3hrs and played over 600 hands. Live, I would need to play between 19-21 hours to see that many hands.
The point being, you'll see a lot more variety in hands (suckouts, 2 outers, etc) in a much more compressed time frame so the game looks wilder. |

I guess it's time for you to beat up some CT'ers in HU now.
