Re: omg how could i have played this differently?

I think you should have folded preflop. If they were suited I could find a call.

Are you really going to fold AA with that flop? I don't see how you don't go broke with this hand.

Yea, as others say, you are going broke on that hand. No way about it, unless you are going to fold AA preflop.

Re: omg how could i have played this differently?

It would have been a great read if you just called his raise preflop and folded after that flop. In a home game or a casino you may have been able to get a read on the opponent but online it's a tough call.

A few months ago I was playing a home game (SNG format). My wife raises preflop, I'm the BB and I look down at the Rockets. I reraise and she calls along with another player. Flop comes with a K. She raises, I reraise, she puts me all in. I H(ee)H(aw) and call her. I'm puting her on AK, she has the Cowboys and I'm on life support after that hand. Her hand holds and I bust out a few hands later. I should have known but I HH and gave away the majority of my chips.

What did you buy in at? $100 or less?

are you serious?!?!?!?!!11111!?!?!?///1?!?!?!?1?!?

Matt you are such a donk! This is an obvious insta-muck preflop. you've got to use all of the online timing tells and look through the screen to see into their souls. Then you can see the K coming and save the big cash. If you ever want to make it big time this is the kind of play you MUST be willing to make. Until you can fold AA pf face up and be proud you really don't know how to spell POKER.

but seriously folks, can't we recognize a sarcastic thread on CT anymore? c'mon.......
