Always out-played, never out-donked

I've been playing so bad lately. Don't know why. Perhaps I'm too tired today. Made bad calls all day. First had some great cards and won a bit but ended up slightly losing because of several bad plays.

Thought this hand was quite funny.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($8.23)
UTG+1 ($9.80)
MP1 ($3.94)
MP2 ($5.86)
MP3 ($16.20)
IHaveNoOuts ($7.20)
Button ($6.0
SB ($1.65)
BB ($1.90)

Preflop: IHaveNoOuts is CO with J, Q.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.10, MP1 calls $0.10, MP2 calls $0.10, MP3 calls $0.10, IHaveNoOuts checks, Button calls $0.10, SB raises to $0.7, 1 fold, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, IHaveNoOuts calls $0.60, Button folds,

Had been away for a while, so I had to post the blind. No reads on villain since he sat down when I wasn't there.
I have been reading too many books since I thought SB's play would be good with almost ATC because of the huge amount of limpers. I always forget that those books and 2+2 threads don't adapt too well to NL10

Flop: ($2.95) T, 5, 8 (2 players)
SB is all-In [$0.95 USD]

Here I figured he would push with ATC. Figured a J or Q might be an out and the 9 would definitely be one.

IHaveNoOuts calls $0.95.
Turn: ($3.76) 9 (2 players)

River: ($$3.76) 9 (2 players)

Final Pot: $3.76

Results in white below:
SB has As Ad (two pair, aces and nines).
IHaveNoOuts has Js Qc (straight, queen high).
Outcome: IHaveNoOuts wins $2.95.

Kind of nice to hit 2 of my 4 outs. Felt very sorry for the other guy.

I might have an idea. Do you always call a 6xBB preflop raise with JQos? You ended up winning here, but this is a big loser in the long run. It is with speculative hands like this that may look good at first, but lose some really big pots.

No, usually I would fold it. Thats the reason I posted this, I thought it was funny that I made a lot of wrong assumptions and played like a donkey and got rewarded for it.

In this situation I would have limped even though now I had to post. There was only one player behind be and it cost 60 cents to watch an about 1.80 pot so I figured I'd gamble. I do think it should have been a clear fold.

I have been analyzing my play a lot though, and realized in which kind of situations I lost most money. I'm also playing tighter than before. Its just that for about a week or two I've been stuck and playing break even or slightly losing poker and I'm a bit frustrated since I think this level should be easy - this has made me play even worse. Would like to clear a few bonuses, but if I can't beat NL10 then there is not much to hope for.

I'd fold preflop. Your going to make way to many second best hands here and will usually end up losing a lot when you do. On a side note: Me=Jealous of you being able to play on Party.

Are the Party games really that soft? I don't have cash game experience from any other site, but I would say that the $6 SNG's are probably slightly harder than at Pokerroom, at least not softer. Although that might also depend on that my strategy from another blind structure didn't adapt too well coupled with the fact that I only played 5-7 games.

Browsed was some thread on 2+2 that the games aren't that good anymore on Party, so people are leaving for sites with rakeback. I suppose Americans could ask for a Euro friend to create an account, although they might be wary if the IP is from the US...

I lost $100 on P* in just over a week before putting $100 on Party and turning that into $300 in two weeks at the same stakes (NL25). Haven't had time to play much since then, but yes, Party seems to be a lot softer.

Mind you, I took a ridiculous number of bad beats at P* - flopped boat beat by turned higher boat, x 3, and several flopped A-high flush all-in beat by rivered boat, etc., etc.
