Chips: 1,728 | | | Multi tournament win, or not? Can you say you won the tournament if you decide to chop when it gets heads up? Played tonight at my local cardroom - $40 buy-in, 158 players. No memorable hands or great moves. Mostly just made good decisions at the final table. First place paid $1400, second place paid $800. Mutual agreement to chop for $1100 each. Does this count as a win, or does it deserve an * ? |

Was it a win technically no, but was it a win for your wallet, yes.
You played solid and you took home some nice cash, good game. *Irish |

At that point the blinds were at 30,000 - 60,000 with a 5,000 ante. There were about 950,000 chips in play, so we each had less than 10 BB left. Pretty much a crap shoot at that point so I agreed to the chop. I figured it was better to pocket a sure extra $300. No bracelet or title anyway, just cash. |

I may chop the cash but I definitely want to settle the tourny.

In any case, congrats, it's tough to get through a field that large. |

I vote for a win. you were outchipped 60/40 but split the cash 50/50. sounds like a win to me. haha |

Not saying that I did not like the chop or I wasn't happy with the money, but to get a win without chopping is a complete gratification with no questions left.
