Chips: 33 | | | Biggest Folds you have made? I was playing 1-2 NL at Motor City (While I was picking up some chips) and I came across a hand when an aggressive kid UTG raised to $12 then the button reraised to $30 total. I look down at QQ in the BB and begin to think right away Im beat. Before I act the player UTG folds out of turn leaving me as the only player left in the pot to act. I think for about a minute or so then finally decide he has Kings and muck my Queens face up and he then proceeds to show me KK. It's probably only the 2nd or 3rd time Ive folded Queens preflop in the 5 or so years Ive been playing poker and the biggest laydown Ive made in the casino preflop. I wanted to know some other big laydowns people on here have made pre or post flop and the stories behind them.

Pot was bigger than the one you described. I had pocket 10's and couldn't let them go as my out of town friend pushed hard with Aces and we like to battle so although I felt I was behind I just wanted to see his face when a T spiked on the board...which it didn't...to which I gave up about $65 or so. But....I took $110 from him last night during cards so I don't feel so bad.

Flop was set over set over set.
Luckily I knew the other two players really well so I could get away from it, but it was really, really hard. |

it was the 2003, the first year that hole cams were being used, but luckily i hadn't shown my cards to the cameras all night. |

Chips: 52 | | | Re: Biggest Folds you have made? Last night I laid down my flush. On the button in an unraised pot I get 4c8c. Raise it up a lil and get a caller. Flop comes two clubs. He checks, I bet, he calls. Turn comes another club. He bets, I raise, he reraised. I fold em, after thinking about it for a minute, face up. My table looks at me like I am crazy, he tosses over Kc5c. Don't know what he was doing calling out of position with K-rag suited...I guess the same thing I was doing. |

Ok I'm joking, but an interesting scenario none the less, no? |

First hand, I'm on the button, I have AA, 6 limpers before me, I raise it to 150 (extreme I know), 2 callers. Flop comes JTQ, mid position caller pushes All In, Cut Off does the same. I used up some of my time, thinking someone may have A/K, Q/J or possibley a set. I fold and midposition turns over Q/3 and the Cut Off shows J/T. His two pair hold up. |

Dealt A-A in the small blind.
Goes Raise, Raise All-in, All-in folds back to me (both had me covered).
I fold wanting to lock being IN THE MONEY.
