Chips: 152 | | | Royal Flush Stories I never had one, but recently read this article about a dealer who keeps track of all royal flushes he dealt (71 in 13 years)
I found the first story where a Royal Flush came up on the board in sequential order and people actually folded nearly unbelievable. http://www.cardplayer.com/magazine/article/16338
Has anybody ever seen a royal flush during a TV broadcast of a major event?
( I remember Jamie Gold once had a straight flush, but that was it.) |

Live, I've never had one but lost with a boat to someone that had one. I've seen 1 or 2 other live ones. |

I had one in person, but we weren't playing for anything, just dealing out hands to each other to pass the time. It was Omaha Hi. |

It was the only real hand I had all day. I got rivered three times in big pots. it was not a good day. |

I only got paid off on one of them when I rivered it to beat two pair.

I've also had 3 online, 2 of them heads-up. I got paid off very well twice. The third time I knew I wouldn't get paid so I just checked it down to be able to show it.
This was my latest about 3 months ago. IIRC I made a pot-sized bet on the flop and he called. I checked on the turn, he bet, I raised, he re-raised all-in. Since I was pot-committed I just HAD to call at that point.... |

I've also had a hole-in-one, not sure which was more lucky! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
