Wow, that's very aggressive for J,10 os and more agressive with overcards and a gut shot... Back door flush... Hey, the hands not over until the last card is dealt, you at least know you got lucky.

Re: Made A Move, Got Caught & Got Bailed Out.

What's with all that min. raising on the flop for? You guys forget you are playing NL.

Personally, I've never been a fan of the min raise myself especially on a reraise, I seem to prefer something at least 150% or more. Someone raises me 800, I kick it to at least 1200 more.

Even the best need luck sometimes to stay ahead plus raising on a draw usually makes it easier to get paid off if hit it also. Not sure I like all the reraising though; you are definitely up against a made had at that point.

I especially like how you hit your 1-way/gutshot straight but didn't need it cuz you also hit your runner runner flush.

Just to really rub it in to my opponent. All I can say is that I have the knack of making a move when someone picks up a hand they'll have fold.

Re: Made A Move, Got Caught & Got Bailed Out.

You're 3rd min raise is just horrible. What are you possibly hoping to accomplish with it? If that's your normal style of play I find it hard to believe that hand is one of the FEW BB's you've given...

Nice hand though, that guy had to be steamed!

Re: Made A Move, Got Caught & Got Bailed Out.

I did play the hand very badly with all those minimum raises not to mention drawing to a gutshot and a backdoor flush.

Re: Made A Move, Got Caught & Got Bailed Out.

I had one last night that had my buddy ready to throw things.

I had 62s in spades that I raised pf and had 2 callers. The flop was Q104 with 2 spades. I bet out the flop to see where I stood, my opp called, & 3rd player (who had a better flush draw) folded.

Turn was a 6 - Villan put a sizable bet out to chase me off the draw. I thought for a while, knew I -almost- had odds, & called. When the river was a spade I bet out & Villan was livid. He folded while complaining that I didn't have the odds unless I had the flush draw and a pair. While he was ranting I showed the 6 of spades since I did have an extra 4 outs (2 6's & 2 2's) to go along with my spade draws.

Being a donkey can be fun.
