i realize i never posted this. over memorial day weekend, i was in LA. at the 1/2 table (b/c my brother and sister in law are scared to play for cash), we hit a bad beat jackpot.
here's a pick of my brothers and my share: 
the whites are $100s (43mm)
yellows are $5s

Nice pickup! BB jackpots are the best, usually cuz you win money for watching 2 guys duke it out and you don't have to do anything  Congrats

purple is $25 | What was the jackpot at because at the place I play at the Jackpot is usually at least $20,000 unless its just been hit, so that means at a full table you would of gotten atleast $625, thats from how they said they pay it out. I've never even been present in the room when a BB Jackpot hit so I'm not 100%.

coz i've been playing and yet to hit a BB jackpot...
the closest i ever got was when i had pocket 3's my opponent had pocket 5's...
flop is 3 5 3....we are raising like maniacs...
if another 5 hits, we get a huge jackpot...
no 5, but i won the pot

His bro was playing. You can't get a share of the jackpot unless you're playing at the table and have been dealt in that hand.
