Chips: 44 | | | G/F rips it up at Foxwwods(long) Well, my gf and I went to Foxwoods on sunday, we both signed up for 1-2nl, and to my surprise were seated at a new table together. It was amazing how many good hands she had within a 3 hour period. It all started when she had pocket 8s, and the flop came q-8-5. a player bets out 20, she raises to 40 and he calls. turn 8, he goes all in for like 50 more, and she calls of course and takes down a nice sized pot.
like two hands later it is 10 to call the flop, her and 2 other players call, flop comes q-8-4, two spades. one guy goes all in for 79, she cflat calls and it is heads up. turn + river both blanks. the guy who was all in show 9-10os, and she shows J-10 spades. she wins with J high. So now she has like 250 in front of her.
Then like 4-5hands later, pre flop raise of 16, there is 6 callers including her. Flop Q-J-6. guy goes all in for 48, she calls, other guy calls with 35 so he is all in. one more call, and others fold. turn blank, river blank, goes check check. she flips over k-k to take down a monster of a pot. She ended up cahing out for 550.
It almost seemed like whenever she raised she would get callers, no matter how much she raised, but if I raised I would end up winning the $3 in blinds. it was weird. But I was proud of her. | | Sponsored Links | |

Glad to hear it, sounds like she had some good cards and also played them well. Congrats to her! Did she buy you dinner? |

I've been sitting at a table where the min raise would take down the blinds over and over but the lone girl could raise 10x the BB and no one would fold to her. It's something that good female players take advantage of. |

The max buy in is $100 and the min is 40. you could technically get $140, because when you are under 40 you can reload an extra 100. |

Then I do the same thing with A-k, and everyone folds. but if it was her raising, dhe would have had 4-5 callers. it was amazing. |

It's probably because (a) girls can't play poker and (b) we're less likely to meet you in the parking lot after a bad beat, so it's time to GAMBOOOL!
Actually, I have no idea why it's true, but after you adjust, it helps. |
