The online poker gods hate me, why I don't know. Lately I have been playing great poker, then BAM, suckout on the turn or river. I am by no means slow playing any of my good hands either. Just recently, AKos, blind 10-20, mp i make it 230 to go, moron right after me re reaises to 440, leaving him with 300. every one else folds, I push him all in, he calls and has J-4 os. Nothing on the flop or turn, then BAM Jack on the river. It seems like I can not win any race, catch any straight, or hit any flush. But my opponents hit everything! If I flop a set, they get a runner runner straight or flush to beat me, I am just left in awe staring at the computer screen that people do this sort of thing.

Sorry for my ranting, but if I didn't do this, my computer would be on the ground in a million little pieces right now.

It will come around. Yesterday I had Kings in the BB. A whole table of limpers so I raised it slightly more than the pot. Everybody folds except the SB who pushes all-in. Hmmmmm...its early in the tourney but I've got to call. Dude has 10-6 of spades. Made the straight on the river.

Fortunately that wasn't his only donkey move. Caught him pushing all-in preflop when I had AK and my hand actually held up.

Playing good poker means taking bad beats.

What site was this? I had a similar run on pokerstars where I lost $1600 in one day playing $3/$6.

I have been having this crap happen to me for 3 months and now it is starting to happen to me in live games for the past month.
It is to the point that I have been calling the cards out loud and it falls.

I know how it feels. The site I play on is pokerroom. I am going to take a break for a little while. Also, it's not like I am playing in the low stakes games, the tournaments are usually 30+, and if I play ring games, its 1-2nl or 2-4nl.

Brother I feel your pain. My Worst one I've got pocket rockets Ac- Ad, the short stack goes all-in I call, he has 4h 5h, the flop comes with Ah- 5c- 2c, turn 10h river 7h. The poker Gods are sadistic, no foolin' Two hands later I busted him and 2 other players with a boat on the river. Ya just have to keep the faith and your temper.
