It's a small weekly $20 buyin, T$1500 35 person tourney. I've made it to the final table, middle stacked $4800+ -, and I'm in the small blind for $400. Everbody folds around to the button who calls the $800. I raise my QQ to $2400, BB folds, and button calls. Flop is 3 rags, rainbow. This is the first time I've seen the button play, and only seen 3 hands with limited action. I go all in, button calls, we flip them, and my QQ towers over his JJ. We all know how the story ends on the river. I match his stack and I now have one, $100 chip left, and the button, with 8 players. To make the story short, I last for a while, and the hand that knocks me out is my 4 4 against 5 8, and the board ends up with two over pairs and a 3. His 8 wins. Whats this have to do with a chip and a chair? When I left I also stoopped and picked up my """"""3RD PLACE WINNINGS""""". Had a chip, a chair and watched 5 others go out to end up third. Probably NEVER happen again

wow, most people really tighten up their play style when one of the few left has a single chip!! I must say, what a stand you had there at the end to make it in the money. Congrats, after all it really takes the wind from your sails to see your all-in bid with the ladies end up falling to a couple fishhooks. Such is the life of a poker player though, and you made the most by outlasting to get to the money.
