Chips: 44 | | | worst luck in 3 tournies ever. Well, I was playing some tournies with some friends. Things going pretty good so far. Then my luck took a turn for the worst. Pocket Qs, raise bb from 20 to 150. 2 callers. flop 732rainbow. guy leads out and bets 100, i go all in for like 500. He calls and flips ove 76os. Turn 7. river no help. next tourny, pocket As. raise bb from 30 to 250. him and another guy call. flop Q 7 3 same guy bets 200 i go all in for like 1000 and he says "I know you got me beat, but what the hell" and flips over 66. Well, you guessed it 6 on the turn. He didn't have as much as me so I was still in. Down to three I go all in with K 10 for 400 bb is 50. He calls w/ q10os, and gets a boat out of it. This guy was extremely lucky and it was making me very angry . But what can you do, except go with the flow. |

J/K not much you can do, but try and remember that you got sucked out on and that in the long run you should win those situations more often than not, that's poker.

Yeah, thats what I was saying to myself, but it just kept happening over and over again. it seemed like no matter wwhat I had he would catch what he needed to beat me on the turn or river. I know that over the long run I will win more than loose with those hands, it was just the fact that it was the same person that was doing it every time. |

The guy in the first hand made 2 bad calls IMO. First he called that big pre-flop raise then called your all in with just his pair of 7s. Seems like as long as he made a pair he was staying in no matter what. But he may have been thinking you were on a big ace and the flop totally missed you.

suckouts are good. it means you're getting your money in strong. weak players don't get sucked out on, b/c they're always chasing. the higher your ratio of bad beats (true bad beats, not coinflips and such) to suckouts, the better you're playing. |
