I caught one....

Cash game $.50/$1 blinds. Work guys so very inexperienced players - calling stations all of them - there is no such thing as bluff in this game.

I got 99 - limp in UTG. 8 players everyone calls. Flop is 983 - 2 spades. SB checks, BB bets $3 - I make it $12 total. Folds around to BB - he calls. Turn a 2 - no spade. BB bets $5 - I put him on a flush or straight draw - maybe 2 pair - but likely the draw. I got about $40 left in front of me - he's got about $20 - pot's at $37 - my action.

I go all in with my set of 9's - want to push him for his whole stack - he's into the wallet for $80 so far and I remind him of that and ask if he wants to risk the whole stack on a flush draw and sit back in the chair. He calls and flips over KJ of spades.

River = 8 - he starts jumping up and down, yelling - high fiving. "I'm the man!!!!!!"

Jonathan,,,,, Jonathan,,,,,JONATHAN!!!!! I've got a full house - I win.

He looks at the board - goes through all the stages from denial to anger to acceptance in about 1.5 seconds.

I'm usually on the other end of those. Good to get one once in a while.

Re: I caught one....

Congrats! I usually end up on the losing end of that situation.
