Chips: 562 | | | My biggest bad beat ever!!!!!!! MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY g*d I am so maaaaad right now!!!!
I was playing in a tournament with six players... I was short stack in the big blind... I had 4-6
The flop comes 7-5-8, I was so happy. I took a long time thinking and went all in. Everybody thought I was bluffing so everybody called
The Turn comes 6... so now we have 5-6-7-8, people bet... then we are just 3 left...
The river comes 9... so now we have 5-6-7-8-9 I WAS FURIOUS!
Of course one of the other players had 10 so I was out!!!! I never want to play poker again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I think my worst was having pocket AA and getting a full boat with 3 6's on the board and getting beaten by an idiot holding 36off. And I was not slow playing it either, I was playing it pretty aggressively and this guy stayed in till the river. That hurt, I had to not play for a few days to get past that one.

For it to really qualify as a REALLY bad beat, you need to have a GOOD hand pre-flop, a better hand on the flop, and then they draw out on you with some complete garbage, with pot odds going against them. If you give them the odds they need it is also not a bad beat, once again, it is a "good" beat, as it will teach you to protect your hand. You did what you could to this end, but you just didn't have the chips to do it there, it seems.
My most recent horrible beat? I am holding AKs and the flop comes TJQ rainbow. I push all in, as there is already a good pot, which I am happy to take down right there. Villain calls and turns over T6o. Turn? 6. River? 6. Now THAT is a bad beat. lol |

And I plaid the 4-6 crap because I was in the big blind and no one raised! I still think caching two runners to win a straight suckes, and I have never seen a straight on the board an I have watched a lot of poker on TV! Not plaid so much my self just been plaing for few months, that might explane that this is my biggest bad beat! I'm still gonna look at it as a bad beat because I was beaten and it was bad
