Just a whine about my game tonight... skip if you want.

Blinds 2000-4000 I have 15.5K left.

AA UTG I move all in.

2 off button moves all in for slightly more. (He is a luck box and when he hits a run there is no stopping him... his run started 2 hands before this)

I flip my aces he flips his AsKc.

Flops 2 clubs and a heart. I push my stack to him even though he only has three clubs knowing what is coming.

Sure enough... club club comes and I am out.

The game before this I have AA and raise he goes all in I call he has KQ os and hits a k on the flop and a king on the turn. THe guy is a luck freak.

SIGH

/end of whine

Justin

I love that, pushing your chips to him, knowing the runner runner flush is coming, and being right! I know that feeling, exactly. Every time I peek at my hole cards and see QQ/KK/AA, the first thought that runs through my mind is, "oh man, I'm either going to win a little bit, or lose a lot now".

Live poker is rigged.

I know how ya feel. A few months back our group was playing, and my fiancee' hit a run like I have NEVER seen. She knocked out 6 of the 9 people that were playing and caught EVERY card she needed. She'd get called on a stone cold bluff and catch some miracle two pair or straight, she'd have monster hands that would hold up, it was ridiculous.

The second, short tourney of the nite, she played too loose and busted out early. One of the guys had to leave, though, and he sold her his stack at a discount. Sure enough, her run fired back up, and she won that one, too. Crazy.

At least the winnings go to the same household.. hehe

Indeed. One of the luck freaks in my game busted AA w/ a 24o last week... caught trip 4s, even after one of the 4s flipped up during the deal. So rigged.

JJ is my absolute least favorite starting hand.

I think it was on one of the recent WSOP shows someone mentioned the quote (paraphrased) "Pocket jacks - can't win with 'em, can't beat 'em, can't fold 'em." How true.
