I'd agree. Pokerchips.com sells Gemaco Compass and Five Stars for $24 a set. I don't think their price would differ on these once they do become available and if ASM decides to stock them. Looks like ASM still has some of the old KEM Circle Techs at a somewhat reasonable price as well ($26.50/set.)

I played with the Gem Pro's a couple of nights and want to write down my opinion on them:
Pro's: They look good. More important, the printing is coated so it's not gonna wear of easily. They are not slippery. They shuffle easily.
Cons: The sides of the cards get dirty fast. They are a bit stiff and have some memory. There are better cards out there that bend back easier. The worst is that there are tiny fibers coming loose from the sides.
Conclusion: I'm a playing card collector, so I love them for their looks and feel. Are they worth the money? I would say no. For $32,50 you can get a doubledeck of pokersized KEM's wich are better or bridge size even cheaper. If you want Gemaco's (I do), get the 5-star.
HeHe. I got them for free when Kardwell messed up my order. I like them better than regular Gemacos. They are perfectly flat, a bit on the stiff side despite being lighter by about 20 grams. They shuffle great. The sides of mine are perfectly smooth and no fibers can wear off, like darkroom said. The printing is better centered as well. If you are going to drop that kind of money on cards, get acetate Dal Negros. I so wish I would have bought more.
