I was helping clean out my grandparents house and I came across some plastic cards. They are called Dale Plastic Playing Cards. They were made by the Dale Playing Card company. They are very similar to KEMS. These cards are probably at least 15 years old mabye a lot older, but in very good condition. There is even a reorder card, but get this, it is 15 cents for a card and 5 cents for postage. My KEMS are 60 cents for a card and 90 cents for postage.
Just wondering if anyone had ever heard of these cards before. I googled the company name but couldn't find anything on them. They were based out of New York. I'm thinking maybe KEM bought them out long ago or something.
I also found some decks of Paulson Playing Cards made for the Imperial Palace Casino in Vegas. Too bad my granddad didn't have any poker chips.
Anyway, if anybody knows anything, thanks for your time.
I've got a 1966 deck of Kem's which has the reorder price of $.20 ea and $.05 shipping. I'd like to know how many company's tried to compete w/ Kem. I have a double deck of Tower plastic playing cards made by Sears, Roebuck and Co. No idea on how old they are. Also have a cool double deck of Lane plastic cards made in Burbank, CA. Figure they were made in the 60's 'cuz the reorder form is also $.20 a card and $.05 shipping.
