Dal Negro, Kem, or Copag??

For those who have tried all 3 brands what is your overall favorite?

I hope we only get replies from those who have experience with all 3 (I doubt it though).

I picked Dal Negro becasue all styles of Copag's are not created equal (as panthershutch15 and I know).

I'm not really surprised when someone picks the Kem's over the Copag's because these cards are really close and most people have experience with the standard stlyed Copag's (1546, Master, etc..) which (IMO) feel flimsier than the Kems.

I'm always surprised when someone selects Kems over the Dal Negro. Based on texture and feel I just don't see it, but maybe other factors like appearance swing the vote for others.

i have all 3... they are all really good.

I play with the dal negro the most because i like the font, color, and design of the cards better then the copag. I don't play with the kem anymore because one of my decks has a broken 7 of spades. Don't waste your money on the $75 wide arrow decks on ebay. A deck of copag or dal negro are just as nice.

The only thing that pisses me off with Copags is the font.

KEM... well, let's just say I could get casino used California Club KEMs for $5/setup and still feel ripped.

Kems are my favorite by far. A little disappointed on the quality of a few Kem decks that I purchased recently (smudged print and other defects), but overall I like them the best. I also have Gemacos and Studkings.

While Copags seem to be the best value, I can't stand their font and don't like the faded look that they have. Just my opinion though.

Re: Dal Negro, Kem, or Copag??

picked KEMs...but only slightly over dal negros (the slight difference being that the occasional dal negro has needed the slightest massaging to reverse a slight bend whereas this has never been needed with my KEMS...two guys at my game seem to bend the corners more than anyone I've ever seen...

(and yes...I own and use frequently in my home games KEM (paisleys, arrows, casinos) Dal Negro (Freedoms) and Copags (Masters, and 1546s)...)

although the last 3 games we have used the freedoms over my KEMs...my buddies like the idea of the security ink...I like the papery feel...

the copags have only been used once or twice because my regulars who were used to my KEMs complained about the slipperyness and we switched back to KEMs right away...

but hey, I'd play with hand written napkins if I had to...

Re: Dal Negro, Kem, or Copag??

i have not tried dal negros yet ....

i have tried kems and recently purchased 2 setups of copaqs...

the copaqs have not got much use (seems my friends are just content with paper as plastic...)...
i always prefer plastic (they make better trash bags for the house)....

so i wont vote, but i like the copaqs....(just coz they are still new)...lol

I have all three brands plus Modiano, and Gemacos. I actually like them all. They all got there own different styles but if I had to choose it would not be one of the choices you gave me. Sorry about that but I'm gonna have to go with the Gemaco's.
