Does anybody make a good custom card?

I've been tossing around the idea for a custom playing card -- good quality bridge size, standard index, with a custom logo on the back if I can get it.

Has anyone had success with one of those boutique online manufacturers? Does any company actually make a good quality plastic card in orders under 5,000?

U.S. Playing Card Co. will do custom backs on a Bicycle deck of coated paper cards, but I'm looking for just one step up (in quality) from those.

If anyone has had success with a card maker, please let me know...

Dennis

Re: Does anybody make a good custom card?

I ordered a few custom decks 2 years ago for our french forum from yourplayingcards.com

You can choose your index and have a custom back, but they are poker size.
Some pics :
black version

gold version

The printing was pretty accurate, without blur.

We had a problem with the first ones, as the black color was very fragile, at a point that someone could mark them with a fingernail by inadvertance.
The problem didn't occur with the gold cards though, so I can't really say that it's a general issue.

Hope this helps.

yes- we have a great card manufacturer for custom 100 per cent plastic cards- but for ANY decent price you need to be at 500 decks+
the biggest price cut is at 1000+ decks

how many decks do you need?

Joe --

Would your manufacturer make between 50 and 100 decks? Any idea on prices? We''d need a custom back color to match one of the colors in a Key West chip, and a logo provided in their preferred format.
