Chips: 492 | | | How many setups of quality cards do you have? There are umpteen threads/polls about how many chips and chipsets folks have, but I've not yet seen one about quality plastic cards.
How many do you have? What brand? Which are your faves? Which are the faves of your fellow gamers?
Discuss please.

My players like the Fournier's also, the Dal Negro's and Modiano's are too "slippery". Paper card loving freaks!!!! |

I have bunches - too many actually. Mainly pre-USPC KEMs and various Modianos. My faves by far are my brown/green Hollywood Park pre-USPC KEM circlebacks. Honorable mention goes to the 4-color Modianos. Just wish they came in bridge width. I'm also really fond of Dal Negro Freedoms.
My home game regulars aren't too fond of the 4-color cards, complaining that the blue and green is hard to distinguish. They love the KEMs though. Quote:

I love the poker peeks, but no one likes playing with them for some reason.
The Dal Negros were my favs, before a card ended up chipped.. now I can only use them in small games where I don't have 2 decks going. |

Chips: 115 | | | Re: How many setups of quality cards do you have? 2 sets of Copag bridge ( Lone star and 1546 )
1 Dal Negro Net Acetate bridge
1 Dal Negro Net Acetate Plus poker
1 Dal Negro Freedom Star
3 Gemaco 5 Star bridge
2 Piatnik 2464 bridge
1 NTP Green/ Gold Bridge
2 Kem Arrow USPC
1 Modiano Bridge
I like the NTP the best. IMHO best feel and durability. Jumbo index works well on the big oval table. My crowd would play with paper cards and dice chips if it wasn't for me. I did just recieve the Net plus and Freedoms and they feel good out of the box. Will be put into play tomorrow night. |

I am quite fond of modianos too...especially the 4-colors. I haven't busted out the Dal Negro Acetates I won at the LSR in a game yet, but really like the feel of those so far.
My (current) favorite are my pre-USPC 4-PIP KEM paisleys: |

Chips: 264 | | | Re: How many setups of quality cards do you have? Copag's.....even though I've been losing about 1 card (usually to a crease) every 3-6 tourney's. Kem's seem a bit too thin, although I may try try them to see if they hold up better. Everyone likes the "poker" size, jumbo index. Also thought about going back to regular index to see if that stops the creasing problem

I think I like my Fournier's the best too.
