Re: How many setups of quality cards do you have?

Most definitely not and gosh knows I've got my share of brand new card setups that have yet to see felt. I tend to believe though that I'm in a minority in this respect and that the rest of you CTers are more practical and get to host more home games than I do.

It never had it's own dedicated thread, but it's been posted in a few other card storage/case threads.

It's a standard case from casesbysource.com

Smooth Black Aluminum Case with Foam from Cases By Source
Don't recall right off the top of my head which size I ended up buying, but if interested, I'll check and advise. Finding the right size to accomomodate the flip top crystal cases was key.
Supplied with 3 - 1" foam pads and you cut to fit whatever you want to put in it.

Re: How many setups of quality cards do you have?

Thanks for the link and info. I've been using the Patron gift cases (with inserts removed) that hold ~18 setups, but it's just too easy an excuse to buy more tequila.

Re: How many setups of quality cards do you have?

My vote was a guess. Because honestly I have no idea how many setups I have. I know I have a box full of them and then other setups at work (absolutely no reason for this at all) and at home. I also have a setup at my parents house and 2 setups at the house of one of my poker buddies.

Here is my list (don't know the numbers of setups but I have multiple of most and way too many Copag... Like 6 setups, I don't even like these cards but it was my first purchase). Also it is good to see that other people have cards that have not been played with either. Some still in the packaging. Most of mine are unpackaged becuase I wanted to handle them but most of them just sit there doing nothing. All are poker sized except my two setups of KEM cards. And I hate Tosh for his post. Old cards are looking awesome to me now.

Anyway the list from favorite to least fav:

Modanio
Del Negro
Piatnik
Aristo (Hard Rock logo'd)
Desjgn
Pre USPC Kem
Fournier (P* fpp purchase x 2. Not bad at all)
Gemaco (FT fpp purchase. I didn't even know Gemaco made plastic cards)
Copag

I also have a setup from a casino in Washington, I forget the brand but the reds have all faded to an orange color. I don't play with these at all but they are cool to have. I think they are from "Players Casino" but not sure.

Re: How many setups of quality cards do you have?

I have a couple of setups like that too from Washington state. Mine are from Christo's and the reds are instead a very pale orange - Gemaco's I think.

Re: How many setups of quality cards do you have?

I ONLY have three setups, two of which are Dal Negros, the other being a Modiano setup.
All Poker sized.
I prefer 4 pip.

I'm on the small fry side of things.

beyond tilt's collection seems on par with the other side of his addiction...
It would have been funny to see three setups next to the MOUNTAIN of chips he has.
