How to setup a deck, as done in the Colorado cardrooms:
A through K - Diamonds
A through K - Clubs
K through A - Hearts
K through A - Spades
if the Ace of spades is on the bottom of the deck, it's 50:1 that it's a new deck. Each deck is easy to verify by fanning them faceup on the table, push out four cards at a time with your four fingers. Everyone can see that it's a correct deck.
