The earlier reviews stated that the red in the new Kems was more "orange" compared to the original Kems. Has this been rectified? Also, the thickness factor of some decks were suspect. Just curious.

I bought a set of the new Kems but had to return it because some of the cards had slices or rips along their long edges. I didn't notice this right out of the box, but discovered it while they were in use after only about 5 or 10 hands of play. I don't remember the exact thread, but I have seen at least one other person on here report the same thing.
I had them replaced with a set of Copag's because I have several others sets of them which I have been very happy with. Now I am gun shy with the Kem's and too afraid to buy another set. I have a set of Dal Negro's which should arrive today so I can try them out - hopefully I will love them as much as everyone else seems to.

I just got my new Kem Arrow wide yesterday and they're OK. I still think they're too thin but they're decent enough cards. Of the 3 types I have now I prefer Gemaco then Copag then Kem.
Does anyone here own Pre-USPC and new Kems? Perhaps they can clear up the "color" difference. I'm so used to my Dal Negro's deeper red that a orangy red wouldn't be as pleasing.
