Oh my gosh. Can I pick the times to pop in for a good read or what? This dude is cracking me up. I can't wait to talk to all my poker people about this. I mean, seriously?? And his shenanigans over on 2+2. Crack.me.up.funny! I'm glad dude was at least entertaining before he got locked up. Sucks about the guy he contacted getting his name disclosed though. Seems like 'witness' would have been sufficient for public release.

so when the officer doing the press conference was asked by media 'will it be hard for the bandit to cash the chips in' (or some form of that question), he said it will be very tough but not impossible and the industry has some security in place to make it tougher.

does he mean just switching to the secondary set? and I wouldnt mind an update on this, did the Bellagio actually switch the chips up eventually to secondary??

Yes, they switched out some of the denoms involved, and the perp was caught. It's actually an interesting and rather involved story. A little searching of the internet and/or 2+2 should give you the whole story.

And high denom chips like those have serial numbers and/or RFID chips so they know which ones were stolen and flagged them so they can't be redeemed.

Sounds like this perp isn't playing with a full house, but you can't say he doesn't have a big pair. No more nights on Broadway for him, I am betting he will get sent up the river.

Hopefully he will go straight after he is done serving his time.
