"Paulson" vs. "66.7mm" Racks

What is the difference between these two racks I see advertised at various websites? Some websites sell both, and they are different prices so I'm assuming they're different but have no idea how.

Re: "Paulson" vs. "66.7mm" Racks

Paulson branded racks = awesome. (perfect fit for new paulsons.)

66.7 mm = don't waste your money. The width may be correct, but every one I've seen had a slight bow up at the end of each barrel. Therefore chip #1 and chip #20 in the barrel sit higher elevation than the rest and carry all the load of racks stacked above.

Save your monies and buy Paulson racks for Paulson chips.

Thanks Josh. Good to know. I've heard of the "1 and 20 chip" problem before but never realized it was the 66.7mm racks.

I'm assuming the mold doesn't matter (RHC vs L/SCV vs Suits)?

There's 2 different flavors you'll find too, 66.7 and 67.7 so be sure you look carefully.

Re: "Paulson" vs. "66.7mm" Racks

I'm one of the few who hate Paulson racks. The offset underneath makes stacking racks annoying since the bottom plastic lifts the chips on the rack below it when you pick up the upper rack of chips. Every time I pick up a rack about 20+ chips from the lower rack (rows 2 and 4) pick up and spill.\

This is all about the design of Paulson racks underneath the bottom versus the dimensions of where the chips go on top.

Not only that but those "pegs" I'm talking about can scratch the bottom chips too if they have inlays.

Personally, I like the chipco racks the best. They are sold several places, including directly from chipco. The only bad thing is that they are too small for ASM chips which sometimes will not fit 20 to a row (66.7 vs 67.7??). The chipco racks fit Paulson and Blue chips perfectly.

I've noticed that the Pauslon racks that have the word "Paulson" in small font on the underside of one of the barells do this, but the Paulson racks from Apache do not. I ordered about 30 of them at one point - best racks I've seen for Paulson chips. No sticking to the chips below, fits 20 Paulsons perfectly, and they don't scratch chips.

Re: "Paulson" vs. "66.7mm" Racks

I just took a pic. Attached is a Chipco rack (which I love) and the Paulson rack (with the 2 vertical "ticks" on the inside bottom that I hate since they grip chips beneath in rack stacks).

The new ones don't have those ticks?
