Vendingdata Casino Grade Shuffler and ProShuffler - Comments?

I would like to know more about those two shufflers from someone actually owning and using such a machine:

VENDINGDATA CASINO GRADE SHUFFLER

and

PROSHUFFLE
Casino Supplies and Automatic Card Shufflers by Ten Stix Gaming

Any breakdowns, technical or other problems that are common with these machines?

Thank you,
Frank

I'm interested in this too. Especially the Pro Shuffle. If it works I'd sure drop a bill thirty-nine in a heartbeat.

Re: Vendingdata Casino Grade Shuffler and ProShuffler - Comments?

Well, I did it and bought a ProShuffler; got it from Texas Poker Supply. It arrived yesterday and was immediately put to use in our home game.

The shuffler looks like metal on photographs, but it is all plastic, and made in China. I cannot really say how long it will last before breaking down, but it worked really well yesterday evening.
The shuffling works the same way as with all other home market shufflers out there; you cut the deck in half, place it on top, and it gets shuffled into one stack again.
ProShuffler has three major advantages over all other home shufflers, and one slight disadvantage. I start with the latter: The button you have to press for the shuffle is located at the back of the shuffler. This doesn't make much sense to me, since a button on the front would have made things much easier.
One slight advantage is that the ProShuffler comes with two plastic weights you can place on the cards while shuffling. This prevents single cards from falling off the shuffler. Since this happens only very rarely, we didn't use them, but it is nice to have them.
The second advantage is that this shuffler is much less noisy than your standard home game shuffler.
The third and major advantage of this shuffler over all other home game shufflers is its speed. This machine shuffles a deck of cards in perhaps three seconds (!). The speed is just amazing. I tried two decks with different colors to check if the shuffle was ok, and it was; despite the high speed, the cards are shuffled very evenly.

All in all, ProShuffler is a good shuffler, its speed is just amazing. I am very happy I bought it.

Mine also came from Texas Poker Supply (for less than MSRP). We used it for the first time last night. Pleased with the performance although we did have cards occasionally turn sideways in the receiving tray. You need to be alert to this which we were because no one consumed much beer. Worried about the drive home in the mini-blizzard raging outside! I absolutely agree the switch location on the back sucks. Otherwise, based on this one-time use, it's all good.

From what I understand the home market is plastic and the casino is metal. The price different is like 10X.

I am glad to hear that they work out.
