Here are a couple of pics of a cool poker chip ashtray that I won last night at a freeroll tournament at Cigars International. The host for the event was none other than ChipTalk.net's own Tripod22. Came in third and won this in the drawing for prizes.
Thought it was kind of neat, given the poker chips on it and all. Holds up to 4 cigars too.
Yeah a little, but it's a long story. Doesn't get on CT that much anymore. He's a good guy and still comes to the NE Regional CT tourneys though. Little known Tripod fact, his tipoff of a big Pharaoh's set on eBay resulted in my first purchase of non-dice chips (1200 chips) and its gone downhill from there! Didn't meet him til later at a NE Regional.
No. Stupidly got pot committed on a open ended draw and donk'd out in third. Should have been more patient. Two table T200 and the blinds got way out of control at the end. But I won tickets for the drawing where I won the ashtray. 1st paid a box of cigars (but not ones I liked). Nothing for 2d or 3d. Had a great time anyway though! But I won $ in the cash game following. . . .
