The whole vintage Vegas, Rat Pack era was the general inspiration. Martinis are a typical beverage of choice during poker nights. My problem is I just need a honest to goodness game room to get decked out properly.
Bluegrass,i live in a small town in Mississippi. At our local Blockbuster they have some mural type paintings that are pretty cool. They have one of the original Rat pack-Frank,Dean,Sammy,Peter-playing cards, pool, etc. They run for about $40 but are worth it.I am planning to buy some myself. If you thought you would like me to go by there again and see what all they have pertaining to the Rat Pack send me a pm and i could get them set aside or buy them and you could reimburse me.I would be happy to help you
Hey Blue. If you decided to go with a bar set against the wall instead of the standard bar, you could have a littel more useable room. If you mounted a rail around the room for glasses and a few bar stools you could eliminate the larger section of bar. You might be able to add another table for larger games.

That's an interesting thought and one I hadn't considered. My dilemma then is do I sacrifice a more traditional bar where folks can sit and drink for the extra space?
