Question About Birdcages

Hey,
A quick question about birdcages and chip trays. Does a tray above another tray, in a birdcage carrier, rest on the tops of the chips in the tray below? I can't see how it wouldn't. But, it seems that wouldn't be too healthy for the chips in the lower tray. Thanks for any insights.

G Shakes
All the trays I've seen rest on the chips.

Re: Question About Birdcages

The racks rest on the chips in the rack below.

The only chips that are damaged by this are those ones made of chocolate.

By the way, whiskey will cure the shakes. Good luck.

Re: Question About Birdcages

They aren't harmonicas, they are poker chips.

(Yes, they rest on the ones below. There are casinos that store the rack about 4ft high "from the floor to the nipple" on short people.)

Thanks for the answers all. That's what I figured.

Re: Question About Birdcages

There are some racks where the rows of chips don't seat themselves perfectly flat -- the two end chips on each row sit just a little higher than the other 18 chips. As a result, the weight of the upper racks of chips rests on the 10 end chips (2 end chips for each of the 5 rows). Depending on the chip, this could be a problem.

Re: Question About Birdcages

The chip racks that Joe of PI sent with the Bellagio GB were different. The covers sit down lower on the racks and the next rack sits on the cover of the rack below it, not on the chips.

Ten racks fit in a birdcage.

The only problem is the racks are a loose fit for Paulsons.
