Re: Poker Room completed

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I'll get some pictures up of how the swing-out cupholders are attached.

Re: Poker Room completed

Guma,

Here are a couple of pics of how the swing-unders cup-holders are set-up. Please forgive the bad stain job. I only had time to get 3 coats on before the game, and I didn't worry about the sections you couldn't see while you were playing.

I had to cut a few inches off of the back piece because the lazy susans aren't as wide as the jumbo cupholders. They attach to the top of the wood I used for the cupholder w/ four screws, then you attach to the underside of your table w/ four screws. I believe I bought 5/8" screws, they don't have to bear much of a load.

The magnetic catches were 89 cents from Home Depot. Once you have the lazy susan attached. I attached the magnet first, then lined it into position, and marked where the metal plate should go. It holds it in place really well.

Here are a couple more pics of the lighted rail.

Awesome idea. No point staining something someone's never (or hardly ever, unless they're taking pictures from under the table) is gonna see. I love the lighted rail, too. That is AWESOME!!!

Re: Poker Room completed

Great Table! Love to get a rundown of the specific components. What color of speed cloth is that? Thanks.

Re: Poker Room completed

That is a fantastic setup. You've got everything you need for a great night of poker. You have one of the nicest tables I've seen, comfortable chairs, and Faux Clays! Love the setup.

Re: Poker Room completed

Nelzie - the cloth is bronze suited speed cloth.

Aside from craigslist where I got the table base, chairs, and the back bar, the majority of the components came from YAT (YourAutoTrim.com).

Here's a link to one of my posts on Scott Keen's site giving a more complete list.

http://www.scottkeen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14685

Brewster - Yup, the Fauxs have a nice yard to play in. I know I'll eventually drop the cash for some Paulsons, ASMs, or TR Kings, but since cash isn't unlimited, I thought it'd be better to be playing w/ Fauxs & Sopranos on a nice table, than to spend $1K on Paulsons and play on a folding card table.

Re: Poker Room completed

Nice room. I too once owned sopranos and i miss them. Now for the evil part of this post:

Maybe you could get a bunch of ceramic quarters and dollars for a micro limit (or side-) cash game. Sorry, I couldn't help it.
